‘The Tenses of the English Language: Abridged Version 1.2’: (1) explains the usage and shows the structure of the tenses of the English language; (2) elucidates the types of verbs, i.e. the main verbs, the auxiliary verbs, the modal verbs, and the participles; (3) describes the difference between the dynamic verbs and the static verbs, and the difference between the active voice and the passive voice; (4) gives somewhat 700 sentence-examples that are supposed to enhance and facilitate the basic understanding of the tenses; (5) introduces the enhanced Timeline Table that visually represents the usage of the tense; and (6) offers a full, contemporary, tabulated list of the irregular verbs.
