TAKE IT FURTHER
The Take It Further sections appear throughout the lessons, offering additional insights into vocabulary, grammar points, and new words or phrases to expand your knowledge.
WORD RECALL
Between lessons, Word Recall sections help review essential vocabulary and grammar from previous lessons, reinforcing your learning and ensuring long-term retention.
QUIZZES
This course includes two quizzes:
- Quiz 1 appears after Lesson 5.
- Quiz 2 follows the final lesson (Lesson 10).
Both quizzes are self-graded, making it easy to assess your progress and determine if you need additional review.
REVIEW DIALOGUES
After Quiz 2, you’ll find five Review Dialogues that summarize the content from Lessons 1-10. These dialogues introduce new vocabulary and structures while familiarizing you with conversational Hindi. Each dialogue includes comprehension questions, serving as a final review of the course.
PROGRESS BAR
A Progress Bar appears on most pages with course material, indicating your current position and tracking your progress. Each line in the bar represents a lesson, with the final line corresponding to the Review Dialogues.
AUDIO
Look for this symbol 🔊 as you go through the book—it tells you which track to listen to for each section. If there’s no symbol, then no audio is available for that section. You can also use the audio separately from the book while on the go, whether in your car or at the gym, to practice pronunciation and review lessons.
GUIDE TO READING AND WRITING HINDI
Hindi is written in the Devanagari script, which is easier to learn than it may seem. Once you understand it, you’ll be able to pronounce any Hindi word accurately. This book, along with the Guide to Reading and Writing Hindi, will help you master the script.
