Close-up B2 Online Teacher Zone
The online teacher zone provides a comprehensive testing package in a printable PDF format. It includes multiple-choice quizzes for each unit, focusing on the key vocabulary and grammar presented. Progress tests, which are available after every two units, consist of a reading comprehension task, a writing task, and vocabulary and grammar tasks. There are also Mid-Year (Units 1-6) and End-of-Year (Units 7-12) tests covering reading comprehension, Use of English, writing, and listening skills. The zone also includes photocopiable vocabulary and grammar exercises for students who finish early or need extra practice. All answer keys are provided.
The online teacher zone also offers access to the Student’s Book audio and video, Workbook audio and transcripts, and a Student’s Record document to log each student’s test results. Close-up B2 Interactive Whiteboard Software can be downloaded from the online teacher zone and features content from the Student’s Book, including audio, video, interactive tasks, word definitions, grammar animations, and games for further practice. Justifications for reading comprehension and listening tasks, along with answer keys, are accessible at the touch of a button. The software also includes a Content Creation Tool that allows teachers to create custom interactive tasks compatible with any interactive whiteboard hardware.
